A day option in The Garden Route South Africa.

Located at

Why Go: Mossel Bay has a very special tree. In bygone days this tree was used as a post office by sailors from passing ships to convey messages to other seafarers arriving later. In 1501 A letter of warning placed in a boot in the tree actually saved the lives of sailors on a passing ship. A post box was later added and visitors can send letters postcards from this spot.
