Why Go: Punta Ballena is a small peninsula and resort, as well as an important tourist attraction on the coast of Río de la Plata and home to the cliffs of Casa Pueblo. You can drive or walk to this viewpoint and see Casa Pueblo and Rio del la Plata to your right, and then the entire Punta del Este harbor and Isla Gorriti. You can also hike into the sea caves and watch the sunset paint the skies.
