Why Go: It is a lovely peaceful spot to visit - as Yeats said \"the peace comes dropping slow\". The effects of the green pasture and the still waters will wash all your cares away. A lovely old stone ruin that is certainly worth a visit. All you hear are cattle and running water. It makes a visit here magical. The Friary has a lot of standing walls. It is on very small roads, but even the drive in is lovely.
