Why Go: Since Ankara is, after all, the capital of Turkey, it boasts some impressive government buildings in the central district which are easily accessible to visitors. Originally headquartered in Ulus, The Turkish Parliament (TBMM) now meets in an imposing palace just down the street from Guvenpark in Kizilay. The TBMM hosts public days where visitors can enter without an appointment every Saturday from 11:00-16:00.
