Why Go: The 'Todor Samodumov' school (known as the Yellow School because the building is painted in bright yellow) is the first Bulgarian high school, founded in Plovdiv in 1868. It is the only old social building that is still serves its purpose - it is a working high-school and it is absolutely worth visiting.
