CP Nel Museum

A point of interest featured in Beauty and excitement in an African paradise Guidelet.

A day option in The Garden Route South Africa.

Located at

Why Go: The CP Nel Museum, housed in a building that in earlier days served as a school, is a great place to learn about the history of the town as well as the impact of ostrich farming on life in Oudtshoorn. A section of the museum is devoted to the role of the Jewish community in the development growth of the town and it houses a synagogue that is still in use.
