This past weekend we had a fantastic time at the kite festival. Parking can be a bit of a drag so arrive early, go with friend, or catch a bus. There is plenty of shaded areas. When there is not an event going on, plan on bringing your food to snack on. March can get hot, good idea to bring sunscreen, shades and if you are planning to walk around comfortable shoes. We enjoyed the experience of walking the miles of tunnels. Entered the tunnels mid-morning and the foot traffic was light but after 11:00 am it was unbelievable the number of people walking and patronizing the restaurants. A very nice place to visit especially when your trying to relax. I love coming here in the morning and catching the sunrise. The way the color and the sky mix makes you appreciate it more. Don't know much about the academics, but what an amazing and impressive campus. The Cathedral of Football that is their stadium is ridiculous. I don't know how visiting teams can come here and not break down into tears. Take a walk around to feel like a freshman again, just don't go streaking in the quad.
